For us, Mailsprouts is an extension of a friendship that began over 20 years ago. Even now, living in different countries (Switzerland and the UK), we stay connected by creating, laughing, and supporting each other. Through Mailsprouts, we invite you to do the same—to connect, celebrate, and send joy, one card at a time.
Meet the Sprouts
Hey! We’re Emma and Kyri, lifelong friends, artists, and the creative duo behind Mailsprouts.
Growing up immersed in Waldorf (Steiner) education, we were raised to see the world through colour, imagination, and art. Those early days inspired our lifelong passion for creativity and connection. Over the years, art has been a constant in our lives—we both minored in Art during our Bachelors, and we both continued to teach ourselves new mediums.
We have designed everything from wedding invitations (even for our own weddings) to flyers for work, to cards and portraits, each with the same care, detail, and joy that we now bring to Mailsprouts.
How we started
Our idea for Mailsprouts began in 2020, when the world felt uncertain, and staying connected was more important than ever. Painting over Zoom became our way of keeping our bond strong—chatting, sipping coffee or wine or even festive cocktails, and creating together. That holiday season, we hand-painted each of our Christmas cards for friends and family, crafting a bank of designs we wanted to share with more people. Those virtual painting sessions made us feel close, inspired, and connected—a feeling we hope to share with each Mailsprouts card.
We believe there’s something special about sending a physical card in a digital age. To us, Mailsprouts is about spreading joy, sparking inspiration, and helping people stay connected. We pour our friendship, warmth, and creativity into every card, hoping to bring light and happiness to your day—and to the mailbox of someone you love.
